Renowned recitalist and Tournemire Prize winner 1997 to perform at St Albans Cathedral in September.
Martin Baker won the Improvisation Prize at St Albans International Organ Competition before going on to be Master of Music at Westminster Cathedral for 20 years. He is much sought after as an organist, playing frequent solo concerts in the UK and around the world.
Martin will open our 2026/27 series of Saturday International Concerts on Saturday 12th September, when he will perform works by Frescobaldi, Messiaen, Mendelssohn and Tournemire, concluding with an improvisation.
Entrance and printed programme are free, with a collection to support future Organ Festival events.
