The 33rd St Albans International Organ Festival opens with a live BBC Radio 4 broadcast of Sunday Worship.
Led by the Reverend Mark Dearnley; guest preacher the Reverend Lucy Winkett, Rector of St James’s Church, Piccadilly; Choir of St Peter’s Church directed by Nicholas Robinson.
It is probable that people have worshipped here, at the northern entrance to the medieval town, for over 1000 years.
Congregation to be seated by 7.45am.
