St Peter’s Church
Free tickets available now
This moving documentary follows the tireless efforts of a small band of pipe organ enthusiasts to save these magnificent instruments as churches and venues across Britain close.
A shorter cut of this film, shown by the BBC in December, was hailed in The Church Times as “Christmas TV’s most surprising gift”. This is the full-length version of around one hour: organ connoisseurs and many others will appreciate the additional depth, music and extraordinary social history.
The film, which is directed by James Dawson and narrated by Huw Edwards, will be shown in the Octagon.
A poignant documentary about loss and rebirth, and the role music plays in our lives.
