The artists have generously agreed to repeat the programme, so they will now perform at both 5pm and 8pm on Saturday 10 July. Both performances will be centred around Nicola Benedetti’s performance of Beethoven’s magnificent and magisterial Violin Concerto, for which the whole orchestra will discard their printed music and music stands to play from memory.
Each concert will run without an interval, and will feature approximately one hour of top-quality music-making. We give particular thanks to Nicola for agreeing to deliver this epic 45-minute Concerto twice within only a few hours.
Television screens are being installed for these two performances to provide a view of the stage from restricted-view seats.
Seating has now been reallocated for Covid-secure distancing. Some tickets have become available for 8pm, after the accommodation of previous bookers across both performances. Book now to avoid disappointment.
Additional Covid-secure tickets will be available on the day of the performance. These unreserved seats are located in the Crossing and will be priced at £10 each. The seats do not have a view, though we will have a large screen to give you a view of the performers. Separate queues for these seats will be at the Cedar Tree door from 4.30pm and 7.30pm. After purchasing your tickets, a steward will direct you to your seats.
Book with confidence. All events will be Covid-Secure. We undertake to monitor all relevant developments and to communicate with ticket-holders as required. If you find that you are no longer able to attend any event – for any reason – you will be entitled to a full refund. Read more…
